Pastors and Staff


willemans2012 Don Willeman is the founding pastor of Christ Redeemer Church. He has a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and has led church-based ministries in Ohio, Michigan, Texas, and Vermont. In addition, he has campus-based ministry experience from his time in Ohio. He is married to Dori, and together they have four children. Don deeply loves living in the Upper Valley, enjoying its unique blend of small-town life mingled with the big-city opportunities of its world-renowned institutions.

Pastoral Residents

RyanChris Audino is a full time pastoral resident of Administrative Leadership and Youth Ministry at Christ Redeemer Church. Chris, a New Hampshire native, has a B.A. in Biblical Studies and History of Ideas, as well as, a M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity International University. Prior to coming on staff at CRC, he worked in college administration, most recently as the Director of the Lebanon campus of Franklin Pierce University. He still enjoys the opportunity to teach college courses in religion, ethics and biomedical ethics. His wife, Erin, and three kids live in Lebanon and love being part of the vibrant community of CRC and of the Upper Valley! Contact

RyanRyan Bouton serves full-time in a pastoral residency at Christ Redeemer Church. He was raised in Central Florida and attended Dartmouth College. As a student he served as a pastoral apprentice to Don Willeman, and in 2001 he received a B.A. in Classics. Ryan and his wife, Jenny, served with Cru for 13 years at Brown University and Dartmouth College, and Ryan is currently pursuing an M.A. in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. He and Jenny have five girls and one boy. Ryan’s interests include playing the guitar, singing, teaching from Scripture, and biblical studies of all kinds. He has a great love for mythology, fantastic fiction, and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, as well as evocative, folk-guitar-rock music and all that calls the transcendence of God and reality to mind. Contact

DougDoug Cooper serves as a Pastor in Residence at Christ Redeemer Church at Sunapee. This is an extension of Christ Redeemer Church of Hanover and is CRC’s first church plant, having begun in July of 2014. Doug completed a two-year program at Word of Life Bible Institute as well as earning an Associate Degree from River Valley Community College in Occupational Therapy. He also works as a per diem staff member with Genesis Rehab Services as a COTA in the Upper Valley and is presently completing his B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Religion and English Literature. Doug and his wife Leah have four children, one dog and one hampster. Doug loves a good cup of coffee, writing, poetry, and obscure vinyl records, to name a few. Contact

Dartmouth Student Interns

abrm_mcquarters Abrm McQuarters is a Dartmouth senior from Tulsa, Oklahoma. At Dartmouth, Abrm plays for the Dartmouth Football team, is involved in campus ministry, and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He is majoring in Government and minoring in Education, and he is looking to pursue ministry after college. In addition to athletics, Abrm enjoys fishing, reading, and napping, especially on a rainy day in the Upper Valley.

josh alexakos Josh Alexakos is a senior at Dartmouth from Boston, Massachusetts. At Dartmouth, Josh is an executive team member for Christian Union, plays club basketball, mentors in the DREAM program, and is a member of the Beta Alpha Omega fraternity. He is majoring in Government and minoring in Economics, and enjoys playing football and basketball, reading, talking history, theology, government, and all sorts of other things.

emma sisson Emma Sisson is a senior at Dartmouth from Memphis, Tennessee. At Dartmouth, Emma is co-President of Christian Union, a peer advisor through the Dean’s Office Student Consultant program, and volunteers and substitute teaches at a local high school. She is majoring in History and minoring in Public Policy and Education, and enjoys running, reading, loudly cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and having good conversation.

Assistants to the Pastor

Jason AchmoodyJason Achmoody works part-time for Christ Redeemer Church as an assistant to the pastor. Jason was raised in Akron, Ohio. He has a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and Bachelors of Science in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Akron. Jason also works as a Commercial Banking Officer at Ledyard National Bank in Hanover, New Hampshire. He has experience in church organization, youth ministries, and Christian education. He has been involved in planning and teaching classes to adults and high school students in the areas of church history, missions, theology, and personal/family development. Jason and his wife, Leslie, have three sons. They enjoy the Upper Valley and day trips to the beach and the ‘big’ city. Jason enjoys reading theologically oriented books, teaching and preaching. AndyAndy Engert works part-time for Christ Redeemer Church as the Worship Music Coordinator. Andy was raised near Buffalo, NY. He has a Masters of Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary. Andy also works full-time as a counselor at the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) New England Office. Andy has been involved in church music all his life and has been leading worship since he was an undergraduate. Andy and his wife, Christine, have three sons. Andy enjoys spending time with his family, playing and listening to music, playing and watching sports, and being active outdoors. Contact

AlasdairAlasdair Groves works part-time for Christ Redeemer Church as an assistant to the pastor. Alasdair grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004. He received his Master of Divinity in counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Alasdair also counsels at the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation(CCEF) New England Office. Prior to seminary, Alasdair was a campus minister with the Navigators Christian Fellowship at Dartmouth College. He has a passion to foster genuine relationships in the local church, especially through counseling and counseling training. Alasdair and his wife, Lauren, have two daughters and one son. Alasdair is a fiction enthusiast, plays ultimate frisbee, and loves to produce and enjoy both good food and good music. Contact

Emily LewisEmily Lewis is an Office Assistant at Christ Redeemer Church. She was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2003. Before working at CRC, she taught First Grade in a small Vermont school. She is married to Matt and they have two daughters. Emily enjoys gardening, cooking, and a variety of crafts. Contact

Becca WistromBecca Wistrom is the Office Manager at Christ Redeemer Church and assists with youth ministry. She grew up in Essex, Vermont and graduated from college in Pennsylvania. Prior to CRC, she worked as an administrative assistant at Dartmouth College. Becca enjoys reading, baking, and owning too many house plants. Contact
