2019 Fall Youth Conference

December 3, 2019
03 Dec 2019

On November 22nd and 23rd, over 60 students and adult leaders participated in our annual Fall Youth Conference at Singing Hills Christian Conference Center in Plainfield, NH. Over the course of the weekend, participants explored “The Controversy of Jesus: Who He is and Why He Matters” in large group sessions taught by Abrm McQuarters and Chris Audino. They also had opportunities to interact on how understanding who Jesus is impacts day to day life in breakout sessions on freedom, temptation, daily devotions, etc.

Surrounding these learning opportunities, there was plenty of time to enjoy the first-ever Fall Youth Conference Foosball Tournament, the annual capture the flag game, hanging out with friends, and enjoying time together.

Special thanks to all the volunteers who made the weekend a success!

2019 Women’s Retreat

May 14, 2019
14 May 2019

For this year’s annual Spring Women’s Retreat, women from Christ Redeemer Church, Christ Restoration Church, and The Quechee Church returned to Pilgrim Pines Conference Center in Swanzey, NH to reflect on the theme “He Brings the Rain: Learning to Embrace the Storms of Life”.

Through short teaching sessions, interactive activities, personal testimonies and discussion groups, we considered ways that God comes to us in our suffering and uses painful circumstances to help us grow closer to him and better understand his love for us. Free time activities, a guided prayer time, and a endless supply of coffee and tea enabled us to deepen relationships and enjoy each other’s company surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.

Following the retreat, Kathleen Peters shared her personal thoughts on the retreat at Christ Redeemer Church in Hanover. To hear Kathleen’s reflections, click here.

2018 Christmas Program & Photos

December 21, 2018
21 Dec 2018

Our annual Children’s Christmas Program is a re-enacting of the Christmas story as part of the worship service. Several of the older children performed a skit highlighting how various Christmas traditions teach us what Christmas is really about. Following the skit, the younger children acted out the Christmas story while the congregation sang traditional Christmas carols.

2018 Fall Youth Conference

December 7, 2018
07 Dec 2018

On November 16th and 17th, the youth group met at Singing Hills for our Annual Fall Youth Conference. With the help of our guest speaker Daniel Ritchie, we explored the topic of Restoring Relationships. The weekend was geared towards helping us discover what is at the core of a rotting relationship with God and other people, and how the good news of Jesus Christ helps restore those. Over 60 students and adult leaders participated in teaching times, breakout sessions, games, dancing, food, sledding, and our always competitive game of capture the flag. It was a great time of fun and fellowship, and we enjoyed having Daniel as he shared his testimony and led us into a better understanding of God’s love for us.
