UPDATE: CANCELATION & ALTERNATIVE PLAN
For more information, please read the message below. Those who were already signed up, should have received this information via email. Please contact Joel Lefferts and Phil Lee with any questions.
However…we know many of you (and your sons) have been looking forward to this annual father-son camping trip so we’re offering a safer and possibly drier option this weekend for those of you that are interested: Tent camping with the option to use cabins a pavilion at Singing Hills Campground in Plainfield, NH (the same campground our church uses for the annual Men’s Retreat). Additional details and directions will be sent soon.
Please take a quick moment and reply to this email (right now, if possible) and let us know either way if you’d like to join us for this alternative camping trip at Singing Hills on Friday/Saturday with a “Yes, we’ll be there” or “No thanks”. Thanks for your understanding and hopefully the weather will be more cooperative next year.

The Annual Father & Son Campout has been rescheduled for August 18th and 19th. All men are welcome, you don’t have to have a son to attend. If you were already registered for the originally scheduled campout, you do not need to re-register. If you were not originally able to attend but would like to sign up for the new dates, registration is available below.
The campout takes place on Gilman Island, which is reached by canoe. The evening will include setting up camp, dinner, and a campfire with music and a message. Then there’s time to visit around the campfire, stay up late, and sleep in a tent.
If you are using a mobile device, register here.
Plan to meet at 5 PM at Kilowatt Park in the South parking area (61 Passumpsic Avenue, Wilder, VT 05001). We’ll launch canoes for Gilman Island at 5:30 PM. It is about a 15 minute trip, depending on how the river is moving. You are welcome to bring your own canoe.
Food will be provided. If you have food allergies, please feel free to bring what you need.
In the morning there will be an early breakfast, and then it will be time to break camp. Return from Gilman will be between 7:30 and 8 AM (This is the “official” ending of the event. You’re welcome to stay longer if you wish)
