Never in recent history has our cultural circumstance been more similar to that faced by the early church. While they operated in a pre-Christian world, we are operating in an increasingly post-Christian world. Yet, with great patience and deep thought, they won the world of their day. This fact alone should make us eager to learn from their example.
Join us as Christ Redeemer Church partners with The Waterman Institute at Dartmouth College for a special seminar that explores the example and teaching of the early church. What was the secret to their power? What can we learn from their example? How did the challenges of the first few centuries help to shape Christian thought and practice for millennia to come?
This class will involve readings and lectures on the early church and its understanding of epistemology, Trinitarianism and Christology.
The seminar will be held on three Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on the Dartmouth College Campus (exact location TBD). If you would like to participate in the seminar, please RSVP by January 19th by emailing
