Recommended Reading

Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

-Proverbs 4:5-7

Devotional Guides & Reading Plans

Redeemer Presbyterian Lenten DevotionalsLenten Devotionals are available from Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. These may helpful in focusing on repentance and our need for salvation in preparation for the celebration of the resurrection on Easter Sunday. You may also find these devotionals arranged by date for the current year here.

CRCarticles The Family Devotional Guide is a tool that we developed almost 10 years ago. It is arranged in a weekly format that is convenient for use at the dinner table, bed time, or whenever. The catechisms in this are particularly helpful and the basic orthodox creeds appended at the end of the document are worth pondering for their basic gospel categories. It is available on the book table and here in PDF form.

M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan
The M’Cheyne Bible Reading Plan was developed by a Scottish pastor in the 1800s. This plan takes the reader through the New Testament and Psalms twice a year and the Old Testament once a year. There are also many other Bible reading plans available on the web.
